RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY
This Returns & Refunds Policy explains your rights when purchasing digital products, services and in-person offerings from Rebecca Carpenter Education. It applies to all purchases made through our website.
DIGITAL PRODUCTS
This includes: presets, guides, templates, online resources, and any other downloadable digital content.
No Returns or Refunds (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
Under UK law, once digital content has been delivered, you lose the right to cancel if you have:
-
Consented to immediate delivery, and
-
Acknowledged that this means you waive your 14-day cooling-off period.
By completing your purchase, you agree that your digital product will be delivered immediately via email/download link and that this means you do not have the automatic right to a refund or return.
Because digital files cannot be “returned,” all digital purchases are final.
Download Issues
If you experience a technical issue accessing your files, please contact us. We’ll ensure you receive the product you paid for, but this does not extend to refunds.
MENTORING SESSIONS & AUDITS
Mentoring Power Hours and business audits are classed as services.
Cooling-Off Period (Services)
For services not delivered immediately, you normally have a 14-day cooling-off period.
However:
Mentoring Sessions
By scheduling a mentoring session within the 14-day period, you request that the service be provided before the cooling-off period ends. In doing so, you agree that once the session is delivered, your right to cancel is lost.
Audits
Once work has begun on your audit — including reviewing your materials, accounts, content or social media — your right to cancel is waived. If you submit your information immediately after purchase, this may remove your right to cancel straight away.
Rescheduling & Missed Sessions
– Mentoring sessions may be rescheduled with 48 hours’ notice.
– Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice cannot be refunded.
– Missed appointments (no-shows) are non-refundable.
IN-PERSON EVENTS & WORKSHOPS
For workshops, training days, or in-person experiences, the returns and cancellation terms are provided on each individual product page at the time of booking.
These terms take precedence over general policies because venue hire, travel and supplier commitments vary by event.
Please check the specific event page for full terms before booking.
FAULTY OR INACCURATE PRODUCTS
If any product or service is delivered incorrectly or is faulty (for example: a corrupted file that cannot be repaired), you are entitled to a repair or replacement under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Refunds are only offered if a replacement cannot be provided.
This does not apply to:
– Change of mind
– Lack of compatibility with your device if system requirements were met
– User error or failure to follow instructions
